About the Ranch

Second Chance Ranch is a volunteer, non profit, equine rescue. In the past few years the group has 40+ horses, ponies, and donkeys from abuse, neglect and slaughter, including a horse many of you know as Valentine. Since the animals in our care are kept in foster care donated by volunteers, most of the time the funding for these animals is covered by private donations and small fund raisers. Unfortunately with our more severe cases such as Valentine or when horses arrive in groups as our little family did our small budget gets depleted quickly. It is with cases such as these that we turn to the animal lovers of in our area and request their help. It is our hope that by requesting help only with our most severe cases that you will respond as you have in the past and
help us produce yet one more happy ending.
