Sub-Surface Informational Surveys, Inc has the latest SIR-3000 subsurface interface radar system and related antennas. The SIR-3000 is a portable, digital system designed for a broad range of environmental, geotechnical, geological and engineering applications.

This system provides real time profiles from our subsurface field data, immediately on-site. Data is displayed in the field on a video screen, then stored on an internal hard drive to be edited for processing. We are able to store continuous visual profiling, with faster data collection and better data continuity throughout the entire profile.

The SIR-3000 GPR system and 400 MHz antenna is used for most of our underground storage tank and underground utility locations.  The system travels along the surface picking up the subsurface anomalies at multiple depths.  The two (2) parabolic features in the GPR data photo show that of two (2) suspect underground storage tanks within 31" of the surface.  These are marked on the day of the GPR survey with marking paint.  Both ends and centerline would be marked along with the approximate depth and orientation.

 

SSMXTIntroducing our latest piece of equipment for advanced concrete scanning-- The StructureScan Mini XT.  This is the newest generation of our all-in-one GPR systems.  This Mini XT offers a 2.7 GHz antenna for superior taget resolution and can reach depths of 20". Locates rebar, conduits, post-tension cables, voids, and real time determination of concrete slab thickness.  LOCATES metallic and non-metallic targets in walls, floors and ceilings.
